John Allen was born in 1760 in County Down, Ulster, Ireland.1 He married Margaret Thompson about 1780.2 He married Mary Brown about 1790 in County Down, Ulster, Ireland.1 He died in 1846 in Butler, Ohio, USA, at the age of ~86.2
