Family members are unsure of this child's name. It is said the child died young. Newspaper clipping: Ottawa County News Democrat, May 1,1896. Tadsen, Meyer, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Tadsen, at the home of his parents on Fourth street, Thursday morning, of a complication of diseases, kidney trouble amd general impoverishment of the blood. He had been employed by Mr. Fred Camper, the grocer, and his kindly disposition and boyish pranks made him a friend of all. Had he lived until the 19th of next month he would have been 19 years of age. The family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the St. John's German Lutheran Church, Rev. Gallenkamp, officiating.
