Mrs. Ann Jane Barton
Mrs. Ann Jane Barton, seventy-nine, widow of James H. Barton, who was a Civil War veteran, died Friday at noon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bupp, of York, of a complication of disease. She was a former resident of Columbia and a member of the U.B. Church, York.
Mrs. Barton is survived by seven children: Thomas, William H. and Edward, all of Columbia. Robert of Lancaster; Harry of York; Mrs. Margaret Sarbaugh and Mrs. Paul Bupp of York. Also fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday afternoon 1:45 o'clock from the home. Interment will be in Conestoga Centre.
