Eunice I. Rader
Dallas, Texas -- A memorial service for Mrs. Eunice Irene Rader, 91, formerly of Niles, will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Niles. Reverend Marion Mailey will officiate. Memorial tributes can be made to the church. Mrs. Rader died April 12 in The Gardens of Richardson, a retirement home where she had been a resident six years. She was born in Port Clinton, Ohio, the daughter of Nick and Dora Tadsen. She attended Bowling Green and Ohio University, graduating in 1924 with a degree in elementary education. A fifth and sixth grade teacher, she was employed by the Niles Public School System from 1957 to 1974. Her husband, Leslie C. Rader whom she married June 12, 1926, died in 1975. Survivors include a son, Richard of Jackson, Mississippi; and a daughter, Gretchen Valentine of Dallas; a sister, Kathryn Sharp of Niles; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Holloway and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
June Tadsen Rader was cremated in Texas and her ashes are buried next to her husband's body in Union Cemetery in Niles, Ohio.
