The child, Sarah A., appears in Vinton County birth records but not family records or Census records. Helen Sharp Morris' notes indicate that Jennie had 13 children.2

Sharp and Mary Anne Sharp ( his sister, I think) of Carroll County, Ohio sold to John Gibson of the same place for $200 a part of the South East quarter of Section 30 in Township 12 of Range 5 in The Steubenville Land District containing 113 acres and fifty hundreds of an acre . Witnesses Samuel Williams and Abraham Merryman. Recorded 26 May 1845.1
