He witnessed the birth of Jean-Lois Haldeman on 19 November 1675 in Neuchâtel, Neuchâtel, Bern, Switzerland, Old documents sometimes refer the "Republic of Bern," apparently before Switzerland was completely united into one country.1 Gaspard Haldiman witnessed the birth of Peter Haldeman on 28 August 1687.2 Gaspard Haldiman and Margaretha Herrenschwander were married in 1674 in Sgnau, Emmental, Bern, Switzerland.3
Gaspard Haldiman was also known as Honnête Haldiman.
