Thomas Denbow was born on 17 October 1833 in Carroll, Ohio, USA.1 He married Anna Mary McVey, daughter of John McVey, on 7 June 1855 in Ludlow Twp., Washington, Ohio, USA.1 Thomas Denbow died on 20 May 1903 in Ludlow Twp., Washington, Ohio, USA, at the age of 69.1 He was buried in Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield, Washington, Ohio, USA.1
In 1860 Thomas Denbow was a farmer.1 He began military service on 29 December 1861 as a corporal.2 He ended military service on 12 September 1862.2 Henry Scott says that Thomas was not 'ruptured' before going into the Army and that Thomas had lived with him for "'eight years or more" and that he has know him "ever since he was 12 years old."1 He and Thomas Denbow and Anna Mary McVey. appear to have a granddaughter, Grace Denbow, living with them, according to the 1900 census. This girl's birthday was recorded in the census as June 1898. I suspect that this is actually James B. Denbow's daughter Grace, whose birth year is 1892.1
